Recyclable Fine Aggregates in Concrete

Over the years, recycling has allowed for a 186 million metric ton reduction in greenhouse gas emissions. Researchers looks to further that reduction by integrating concrete into the recycling process. As the construction market continues to develop, the need for recyclable aggregate concrete increases. This study investigates various concrete mix designs that use recyclable material such as glass, metal and plastic as a substitute for traditional concrete aggregates.
