This study evaluates the operational efficiency of potable water infrastructure in Baní, Dominican Republic, to propose improvements to optimize resources and reduce operational costs. The study identifies critical areas where enhancements can be made by assessing efficiency indicators and analyzing workflow processes at water treatment facilities. Key findings reveal opportunities to streamline processes, minimize waste, and enhance service reliability, ensuring water resources are managed sustainably to meet growing community
needs. The proposed optimization plan includes targeted adjustments in resource allocation, maintenance protocols, and technological upgrades to improve system performance and long-term sustainability. This research underscores the importance of efficient infrastructure in supporting public health and environmental resilience in Baní.
