Abstract: West Monroe is a business and technology consulting firm headquartered in Chicago, IL. West Monroe has many programs that support the communities in which it serves. One such way is by donating pro-bono consulting and business services to local charities and non-profits in their service areas. The purpose of this abstract is to illustrate the overall pro-bono consulting program, review data and information about the number of charities and non-profits served, and show a case study of work completed for the Girl Scouts of Greater Chicago and Northwest Indiana. The case study will review how industrial engineering consultants utilized their business skills to perform an organizational and role effectiveness assessment and to help provide recommendations about how to better align the current team and resources to a new strategy.
