Abstract: As mitigating climate change becomes so urgent, there is an increasing number of companies and organizations that commit to reach net zero around the middle of the century. However, most of them haven’t derive any operable or instructive solutions. We create a new organizational scaled model to help corporate decide the best pathway to achieve net zero. Expanded from carbon accounting system, this model not only gives corporate comprehensive understanding of the carbon emission detailed in each scope, but also generate the specific pathways to break down net zero target into multiple customized phases and steps, give instructions on how to reduce or offset the emission based on their own business. All the given pathways will be verified and solidified by socioeconomic and technological analysis. Scenario analysis is also considered in the model so as to illustrate the possible chances and challenges on the way to net zero.
