New technology can help reduce greenhouse emissions from manufacturing

In 2019, we noted several important events related to climate change. In both the United Nations’ leaders meeting in September and the G7 meeting in France in August, climate change was at the top of the agenda.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres urged political leaders for action on climate change. Crowds flooded streets in cities around the world to encourage politicians to act and students held a global climate strike and assembled in cities demanding immediate actions.

Carbon capturing and sequestering/storing (CCS) is emerging as a vital technology to achieve climate goals in conjunction with renewables and energy efficiency.

The article discusses what it is, and how it can cut greenhouse gases emissions.
